I started writing Python scripts at a services company in Hyderabad. Today
I'm a PM on Azure's compute team in Redmond. The path wasn't planned — I
just kept gravitating toward the parts of the work where infrastructure
meets product decisions.

I work on Linux on Azure — the provisioning layer that every Linux VM
passes through, plus the GPU and confidential-compute SKUs built on top
of it. Some of what I do is roadmap and spec work; a lot of it is
coordinating across the engineering teams, distro partners, and customer
teams who all touch the same surface.
GPU SKUs for AI workloads
Helped define and ship custom GPU SKUs used for large-scale model training. I owned the PM side of a few of these launches — requirements, partner conversations, and the rough edges that show up after GA.
Linux provisioning
Drove a rework of how Linux VMs come up on Azure. Reliability and boot-time numbers improved measurably, and a diagnostics assistant we built has cut support escalations on the cases it covers.
Confidential VMs
PM for confidential VM support on Linux. Most of the work was unglamorous — getting the right combination of hardware, kernel, and distro pieces to actually work together for regulated customers.
I also handle the technical relationship with Canonical, Red Hat, and
SUSE, so that new Azure features land on supported distros without a
long tail of breakage.

Principal Architect · Boston, MA
Consulting work, mostly cloud migrations and DevOps adoption for
enterprise clients. I spent a lot of time in workshops translating
what executives said they wanted into something the engineering teams
could actually build.
Cloud modernization roadmaps for several enterprise clients, with measurable cost reductions on the workloads we migrated.
CI/CD pilots that shortened release cycles from days to hours for the teams that adopted them.
Reusable IaC modules that a financial-services client adopted across a chunk of their app portfolio.
Helped pitch and scope a Computer Vision engagement that turned into a longer-running product effort.
Consulting was where I learned how much of "architecture" is really
about getting people to agree on the same picture.

First role focused entirely on cloud. I automated client onboarding
with ARM templates, replaced a lot of manual VM setup, and helped
design the backup setup we ran for customer environments. Small team,
broad scope — a good place to learn the basics.

Where it started. Python and PowerShell scripts replacing manual
engineering workflows. I shipped my first production app here and
figured out I liked building the tools more than running them.
